I didnt like the others on council, mayor and state reps getting into the races. I did like the idea of staggerd terms but didndt forsee this happening. I still like 4 year terms but think they should all run together to prevent the endorsements by elected officials. I am conservitive and independent and still like the notion that we could someday have a "run clean" campaign format. This is what I got dinged on as a "poll tax" but given the current state of affairs I think some new ways would be welcome. As for CC, I want our taxes lower. I dont see a clear plan on council to do this but I dont know if I will get another swing at the plate. I do like your participation and being involved for the betterment of our great city. We dont have to agree to both be able to participate. In fact I kinda like it that way. How boaring it would be if we all agreed all the time.
